Change

One of the things I love most about spring is how everything is always changing. The snow had melted and the mud had dried and we decided it was time to clean up the yard. I was so excited to take pictures of the first signs of spring in our yard. Then we got six inches of snow the next day and I felt it was not appropriate to blog about the glories of spring. Well it is a few weeks later and I have some "then and now" pictures to show how much things can change in such a short time.

My lilac bush we planted last year
I was so worried it would not make it through the winter,
but as you can see it is doing very well.

My tulips that Jeremy planted for me.
They are my favorite.

The first 2 bloomed this week!!

One of my favorite changes, Austin's video game addiction
has gotten a little better with the improving weather.
He can play with his friends outside or help me with the yard work.
Well, sort of, this is as close as he gets to helping me weed the garden.
This is just a wagon that was going by while Austin was playing with my
camera. I have about 20 pictures of it. Fun spring activity though.

We made a few changes to our back yard this year too.
Jeremy added a fire pit last week.
We have had 2 fires in it already. It has been so much fun.
Austin's first hot dog in the new pit. He roasted it himself.
He ate it even though it was a little black.
We planted another tree in the backyard.
We have a grand total of 2 now.
Here's hoping this one has better luck that the
last one and doesn't snap in half in the wind.
Maybe we will actually have a shaded back yard in 10 years.
Happy Spring!!!

After a busy day playing with the neighbors our little guy couldn't even make it through his sandwich. I guess it was good that this didn't happen in the bathtub.

Yay! Yay! Yay!

Sorry I borrowed your blog title Sarah. What else can you say when your husband finally gets a job? You understand. Anyway, Jeremy starts working for Cache County on Monday morning. We are hoping that everything goes great for him and that it can turn into a permanent position with benefits and a little more money. So finally some good news. YAY!!!
