So there you go that is Austin's name according to him. He was so cute, he was taking it very seriously, typing very carefully. He even changed the colors himself. I will have to let him do some more posts in the future.

BlAcK AnD wHiTe DaYs

Yesterday we took a trip out to Richmond. It was Dallan's 18th birthday and Richmond was having Black and White Days. We went to the parade they had and then had a BBQ at Heather's. It was a lot of fun and not as hot as it was last year. I know Sarah wants to hear all about the little things we are doing so I am trying to post as often as I can. Hear are some pictures of the festivities. Pictures of parades are hard to take. Too many of my pictures turned out to be pictures of the back of Austin's head.

THE FIRE TRUCKS!!
Austin's favorite, the was a long line of fire trucks. Austin
was so excited that he didn't even notice the candy that
they we throwing at him. He was in Heaven.

I didn't take any pictures of the BBQ (too busy eating),
but I took these pictures of by niece Brooklyn playing in
Jeremy's truck that I thought were too cute!

PoTtY TrAinInG

So we decided to put a strong effort into POTTY TRAINING Austin. At first he was so excited to wear his big boy underwear. I thought that maybe he was finally ready and that we just needed to start working with him more. Then he started getting mad at us if we asked him if he needed to go to the bathroom. Now he says that there are MONSTERS IN THE TOILET and refuses to put on his new underwear. We are moving in the wrong direction. We made a chart last night. I have heard that that works. Right now I am just going to slow down and hope that taking some of the pressure off of him helps. Jeremy and I were both the hardest for our parents to potty train. Now I am starting to wonder if they have cursed us with a PROBLEM CHILD of our own or if Austin has inherited or stubborness. Anyway, I am not going to give up. Just WISH US LUCK, we are going to need it.

HaPpY MoThEr'S DaY

Happy late Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there. It has been a crazy couple of weeks for me so I have not been able to update my blog until now. I worked almost 66 hours last week, and me and my boys are sick (yes I consider Jeremy one of my boys because he acts like a baby when he is sick). He knows that I still love him and that is why I can write things like that. Not very many exciting things have happened to us lately anyway. I had a good Mother's Day (even if I had to teach the primary class by myself) When life gets a little less crazy, or I actually have something worth writing about I will try to write more.
