New family pictures

In November we had our family pictures taken by Sarah's sister-in-law Amy. Austin was not a happy boy that day. He was cold and grumpy the entire time we were taking pictures. I think that she did a great job getting pictures of us, considering the reluctant subject that she had to work with.

Here are some of my favorites. I love the pictures of us comforting him trying to get him to cooperate for the pictures. I just love them, Austin's grumpy face and all.

Thanks Amy!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

I have never been very good at taking Thanksgivng pictures, but I did manage to take a few picture of the food before we devoured it all. WE had two turkey's this year a regular one and one that Jason smoked.

This picture is a little cloudy because I had just taken the camera out of my caold car. Melissa made the awesome pies.

It's always a lot of fun when we break out the
Legretto cards when the family gets together.

We also had family pictures that night with the Kartchner family. So we had run back to Logan that night. I will post the pictures when I get copies of them.
Friday we went to Jeremy's Grandparent's to hang out with the family before everyone went home, and watch a lot of football. That night we had a girls night out. Jeremy's grandma, mom, aunt's and girl cousins all went out to dinner and to the Nutcracker. I had so much fun, I had never been to anything like it before. Thank you so much for taking me girls.

Austin's birthday almost always falls on Thanksgiving weekend. This year he had a growth spurt in October. So he got a lot of clothes for his birthday, but we did get a few toys for him.

We had a birthday party for Austin and Brittany on Sunday at our house.

Austin loved all of the stuff he got. Thanks everyone.

It was a crazy busy weekend, but so much fun.

Snow

I did it again. Now I get to play catch up with all the blog posts. Here are some picture that I took of Austin after the first snow storm. He has really had a lot of fun playing in the snow this year. One of his favorite things to do is throw snow balls at my front window.

This is the picture I took during our famous "blizzard". We probably only got about 5 inches of snow, but the wind was really bad. Either way I am not sad that I got to leave work at 2 because they shut down the University.

We probably had a foot of new snow after our storm we had last Sunday, and I have decided that I am going to enjoy the snow this year. It really was kind of fun having a white Thanksgiving, just like we used to have when I was little.

Halloween 2010

Austin was Darth Vadar for Halloween this year.
He is addicted to everything Star Wars.

We went to Tremonton on Saturday and went Trick-or-Treating with Melissa's kids this year. Blake was a dragon. Aubrey was a witch and Carter was Iron Man.

SInce we did not make it to Wellsville to see Jeremy's family on Saturday, we went out on Sunday. We always go to see Great Grandpa and Grandma Wyatt and some family friends on Halloween, so the kids put on their costumes again to go see them.

Hailey was Hannah Montana, and Brittany was Ballerina Barbie. Jeremy's cousin talked him into putting on the sumo wrestler costume. Tyler was our little Elmo.
Happy Late Halloween everyone!

My Birthday

I turned 29 this year, and I am not too happy about getting older. Not looking forward to 30. On my birthday my sweet husband cooked dinner for me. It was such a great surprise after a long day at work. He bought me a cake and Austin picked out the decorations. He was so excited. I think that I will let him decorate his own birthday cake since he had so much fun with it. I love my boys!

Since I had all that free time I got the chance
to spend some time playing with my baby.
Here he is riding his bike.

I love this face!

We played in the leaves!

Since my birthday is a couple of days before
Halloween we carved our pumpkins that night.

The results of all the hard work!

It was such a great day. I also had family parties the Sunday's before and after my birthday. Thanks everyone. I was really spoiled this year.

I let myself get behind again. Here's an update.

Believe it or not we did have a pretty busy summer. I have just not been in the mood to blog or take pictures. This is one of the few pictures that I took ant the Kartchner Family Reunion. It is of my two favorite people in Logan Canyon where we went to have a dutch oven dinner.

Jeremy worked a lot this summer and we ran out of time to do some of the activities we had planned for the summer. He finished his tests and has received his CDL. Unfortunately, after all of his work, he was still not able to get on full time for the county. He was informed a couple weeks ago that he will be laid off sometime in November because of budget problems. We feel fortunate that we know ahead of time so that he can start looking now. Our wonderful neighbor has a construction company and has told Jeremy that he should be able to keep him busy with some projects until he can find something else. We are so grateful to have the support of family friends and our ward. It looks like it will be a little bit longer before we can try for that little girl Jeremy wants.

On a happier note, it is FALL. I love this time of year, even with my fall allergies. The weather is getting colder and all of the changing leaves. I just love it. Even our itty bitty maple tree in our back yard is bright red. I also love fall activities. We went to a corn maze last weekend with my family. I actually got out my camera and took some pictures. It was a lot more fun than last years maze was. I think it was because the whole family was able to be there and not just me and my sisters with all of the kids. They also had a straw pyramid that you could climb through/up. The kids/Jeremy loved jumping off of it and on to mattresses. Then we went out for ice cream after.

Before we entered the maze

Jeremy pulled a face every
time I pointed the camera at him

Ah, so cute!

Carter would have stayed up here all
night if Jason would have let him.

Tried to catch a picture of him while Blake was on his
dad's shoulders but wasn't fast enough.
At least I did catch his cute face on the way down.

Look I'm there too!

Mom and Doug

Are we lost?

Nope, we made it! Celebrating on the straw pyramid!

Good Times!
