Our trip to Temple Square

On December 4th we took a trip down south. We had the day off because Austin had a Dr. appointment and we decided to make the day of it. Jeremy's mom came with us, we stopped in Layton on the way down to do some Christmas shopping. Kathy had never been to the Conference Center so we took a tour. The auditorium was decorated for the Christmas Devotional, it was so cool because the light were always changing. I love the beautiful tree in the lobby. We also got to see the original painting of the picture that is on this months Ensign. Temple Square was beautiful and the weather was great. Temple Square is one of my favorite places in the entire world, but it is even better as Christmas time. There was such a wonderful feeling.

We even got to see a Santa playing the bagpipes.
I loved the whole day, but I am not sure that Austin was as impressed as we were. We stopped in Layton again on the way home and ate at Outback Steakhouse where Austin passed out from our long day, and maybe to 4 shots he got in his leg that morning.

    Aw! Looks fun. We didn't have time to go see the lights Sat. and now I'm dang sad we didn't. Good thing I have your blog to let me see what I'm missing.

    Anywho, ya we wanted to call and tell ya we were making candies but mom said you were working and we knew it would make ya feel bad you couldn't come. But hey, we need more so maybe we should just do it again on a weekend.
