The H.P.

So, Hyde Park had it's Pioneer Day Celebrations a week early. Not really sure why they did this, but I guess that we can celebrate again next week. This year my sisters came over and we roasted hot dogs and s'mores in our backyard fire pit. It was a lot of fun to hang out with my sisters. I think Jeremy was feeling a little left out, because Jason and Jared weren't able to come, and sometimes the three of us can get kind of crazy when we get together.

Aubrey, Austin, and Carter cooking their own dinner, priceless.

Okay, so maybe Jeremy had to finish for them.
(I really didn't take they greatest pictures)

Now on to dessert

We had a hard time getting any pictures of the fireworks. But it was so nice to be able to watch them from my front yard.

(I had a lot of pictures of black sky)

So much fun! Thanks for coming girls!

The next day Hyde Park has races, a parade, and other celebrations. We went to the parade for the first time this year. Austin didn't want to ride on the fire trucks with they rest of the primary(yes our primary is big enough to fill 2 fire trucks and still have to have some walk). Maybe next year, he did get a ton of candy though.

Yes, we are still alive.

Don't you hate it when life is so busy that you never have time to get everything done, and yet still have nothing to blog about. This is my life. We have had a lot of birthdays and holidays in our family. They have been a lot of fun, but did I take any pictures, no. I am such a slacker. I had to work Mother's Day weekend so my family just came over to my house for dessert that night. Jeremy had his 31st birthday on May 24th but we waited until that weekend to celebrate. I think that we will make that a tradition from now on and leave the 24th as a day to remember Jeremy's brother Tim we lost last year. Mom had her 50th birthday on June 11th. We threw her surprise party, but you will have to go to my sister Sarah's blog to see any pictures of it. I think I was to stressed about everything to think about taking any pictures. It was fun but a lot harder to pull off all the lies than we thought it would be. I think we all vowed to never do a surprise party ever again. Jeremy helped Jason cook in a smoking competition at Cabella's the next day, but that is Melissa's story to tell. Sarah's birthday was the next day and everyone came to my house for pie. Last weekend was Father's Day. We had a BBQ at the Wyatt's on Saturday and then went to Doug and my mom's for dinner Sunday. See, crazy busy! In the middle of all this I got strep throat, worked full time, tried to spend as much time as possible with Austin, and lost the never ending battle with my house work and the weeds in my garden. So there is my big, boring, sorry excuse for a post. Melissa's birthday is next week. We are having a party on Sunday and I plan to take pictures. She is turning 30 this year so we need to do something to embarrass her right.

Change

One of the things I love most about spring is how everything is always changing. The snow had melted and the mud had dried and we decided it was time to clean up the yard. I was so excited to take pictures of the first signs of spring in our yard. Then we got six inches of snow the next day and I felt it was not appropriate to blog about the glories of spring. Well it is a few weeks later and I have some "then and now" pictures to show how much things can change in such a short time.

My lilac bush we planted last year
I was so worried it would not make it through the winter,
but as you can see it is doing very well.

My tulips that Jeremy planted for me.
They are my favorite.

The first 2 bloomed this week!!

One of my favorite changes, Austin's video game addiction
has gotten a little better with the improving weather.
He can play with his friends outside or help me with the yard work.
Well, sort of, this is as close as he gets to helping me weed the garden.
This is just a wagon that was going by while Austin was playing with my
camera. I have about 20 pictures of it. Fun spring activity though.

We made a few changes to our back yard this year too.
Jeremy added a fire pit last week.
We have had 2 fires in it already. It has been so much fun.
Austin's first hot dog in the new pit. He roasted it himself.
He ate it even though it was a little black.
We planted another tree in the backyard.
We have a grand total of 2 now.
Here's hoping this one has better luck that the
last one and doesn't snap in half in the wind.
Maybe we will actually have a shaded back yard in 10 years.
Happy Spring!!!

After a busy day playing with the neighbors our little guy couldn't even make it through his sandwich. I guess it was good that this didn't happen in the bathtub.

Yay! Yay! Yay!

Sorry I borrowed your blog title Sarah. What else can you say when your husband finally gets a job? You understand. Anyway, Jeremy starts working for Cache County on Monday morning. We are hoping that everything goes great for him and that it can turn into a permanent position with benefits and a little more money. So finally some good news. YAY!!!

Not so exciting times

I have been telling myself that I need to update my blog for a long time now. We have just not done anything that has been very exciting lately. We are very boring. We just sit at home and play the Wii with Austin most of the time(that little boy is becoming quite addicted). Some exciting news is that Jeremy has a job interview on the 30th for a job with Richmond City. Everyone cross your fingers everyone. Maybe this is the one. I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone for all of the help and support you have given us trough this rough time. You and your prayers for us are the only thing that has made it possible for us to get through the last couple of months.

Oh the memories

So I was having a really bad day at work on Friday. I really missed my boys and it has been really hard being there since they let Jeremy go. I found out that I don't really have that much happy music on my ipod. I need suggestions of stuff to put on it that will get me out of my foul moods. After much searching I came across "Jesse's Girl" by Rick Springfield. It took me back to the summer I was pregnant with Austin and working in laundry. Such a fun year, especially when Sarah and Anger got to come to help me. With Anger jumping out of laundry bins to scare people, or was that sleeping in them, and singing along to the music. Good times, even if I can not stand the smell of dryer sheets after doing hundreds of loads a day. I miss it;)
Have a good day.

My LoVe!

Just wanted to take the time to say how much I love this Man . It has been a rough time for us lately so I have not had much to blog about. Yesterday was Valentines day and I wanted to tell my valentine that I love him so very much. He is such a good husband and father. He is a goofball and children just love to play with him. He may looks intimidating, but spend 10 seconds with him and you will find out that he is really a teddy bear. He is such a hard worker with so many talents. He is really struggling not being able to provide for his family right now. We are praying that this is just a rough patch that will hopefully lead to something better for our family. Whether it is a new job or going back to school we have a lot of changes coming our way and I know this wonderful man will do everything in his power to take care of his family. I just makes me sad that not everyone can see how wonderful he is. I hope that he can see how great he really is and remember all the people who love and are supporting him.
We love you Daddy! You are the best!!!

We are not the greatest at taking pictures of ourselves. Now pictures of Austin I have. So I just posted some random pictures of us. Apparently the scanner hates me. I really wanted to put pictures of our dating years and some wedding pictures. I really need to back up those pictures so that I don't loose them. I guess that is a project for the future.

OuR LiTtLe GuY!

We had Austin's pictures taken today. He didn't want to be there and we got a lot of fake smiles. We did end up getting a few cute ones out of him. I loved this collage they did and splurged a little to get it. (Oh wait, Mom paid for the pictures, I guess she splurged so that I could have it;)

Like I said, not all of the pictures turned out.
I call this one "In Pain"
I have never seen Austin pull this face before.
(but I can't stop laughing every time I see it)

This was Jeremy's idea. He saw the background and thought that
it would be cute to have some pictures that looked like he was skipping
church to go fishing. The photographer wanted him to take his shirt off
and he freaked out. I thought they turned out so cute.

Here are the rest of the picture. So cute, love this boy!

Better late than never!

(I started this post over a week ago then Austin got a really bad cough and a fever. He has been very demanding. There is a lot of sickness going around the Wyatt family. I lost my voice but it seems to slowly be coming back. So here is my December post. Better late than never I guess. )

I feel bad because I have not posted in so long. I am still better at it than Melissa is. I made a calendar for my mom and Doug for Christmas. Things did not go exactly to my plan and I ended up scrap booking. This took up every bit of my spare time. Now I am playing catch up on all of our December activities.

Austin playing in the snow. I really liked how the pictures turned out.
We had a lot of family Christmas parties in December. We were unable to make it to the Bowcutt family party on the 12th because Austin and I were sick and Jeremy was plowing snow. On the 19th on December we had 2 Christmas parties. One with the Mendelkow's and one with the Kartchner's. They started an hour apart so we missed the end of one and the beginning of the other. A lot of running that night. In all of the chaos of the night I didn't get an pictures taken. It was a crazy December but I loved it all.

Here is Austin Christmas morning.
(such a spoiled boy, but so very loved!)
We went to the Jeremy's parents Christmas morning. The little stinker didn't pose for a picture.
They gave him "Gator Golf". He was so excited he has been wanting it since Thanksgiving and was unable to get it with his birthday money because everyone has been sold out. (Uncle Jared need to help him with his swing a little.)

We went to Grandpa and Grandma Lott's next. It was so good to see family that we don't get to see very often.
Here is him at my mom's
(our 3rd Christmas Day stop)
He loves his transformers and he looks adorable
in the new church cloths they bought him.

Jeremy opening his new hunting game for our wii
Mom and Doug opening the calendar
I love December so much, it is worth all of the craziness. Thank you to all of our family and friends that spoiled us way too much this Christmas. We love you. It was a truly great day!
